Wichita Children's Theatre in Area Schools

Wichita Children’s Theatre will present “The Ugly Duckling” for the area elementary schools listed below. Sponsored by the Western Plains Arts Association in cooperation with each of the school districts, major funding has been provided by the Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation (GNWKCF) for Logan & Thomas Counties, Bird City, and the Dane G Hansen Foundation, Lenora.


Anyone outside the public elementary school system desiring to attend one of the free performances should contact the local school office staff ahead of time to make arrangements.


Monday, Oct. 16

Tuesday, Oct. 17

Wednesday, Oct. 18

8:30 a.m. MT, Max Jones Fieldhouse, 13th & Arcade, Goodland, 785-890-6558.

1:30 p.m.  CT Quinter Elementary School, 600 Long St., 785-754-3741.

                     Performance will be in the high school auditorium.


The Wichita Children’s Theatre Professional Touring Company has provided quality family entertainment across Kansas and surrounding states for more than 40 years. The WCT is a 501c3 non-profit organization. See www.wctdc.org for more details.


A magician is coming Sunday, Oct. 22 to the Colby Community College Cultural Arts Center. Joshua Lozoff will present “Life Is Magic” with amazing, mesmerizing and mind-boggling magic and mentalist magnificence. Admission to “Life Is Magic” will be by WPAA season ticket or at the door.
