Acclaimed Celtic fingerstyle guitarist Jerry Barlow is a virtuoso musician, a warm and accessible performer, and a world-class storyteller. His repertoire is composed of a synthesis of traditional music from the British Isles and his own original Celtic-inspired compositions. On Sunday, March 26th , Jerry will perform a show of medieval Irish & Scottish history and music called “Of Castles and Kings”.  Western Plains Arts Association will present Nic & Desi on Sunday, March 5th , 3:00 p.m., at the Oakley High School Auditorium. Nicolas Dromard and Desiree Davar (known as Nic & Desi), Broadway dancing stars and real-life married couple, will share their love of song and dance in a high-energy journey through stage and screen favorites. Wichita Children's Theatre Perform in Area Schools

 The Wichita Children’s Theatre Professional Touring Company will present THE THREE LITTLE KITTENS in six area schools this coming Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, February 27th, 28th, and March 1st, 2023.
The Three Little Kittens have lost their mittens—but they’re not just going to sit around and cry about it! These kittens are definitely not your ordinary house cats. Help the kittens find their mittens and save them from their hideous fate—a time out! The kittens all learn many valuable lessons, but the most important is to always tell the truth.Adapted by Kevin M. Reese, this musical comedy is based on the popular children’s story.

News Release: The Navy Band

Western Plains Arts Association News Release
The United States Navy Band from Washington, D.C. will present a free concert at the Colby Event Center on Tuesday, March 7, at 7:00 p.m. The concert is sponsored by Western Plains Arts Association.
